India’s Finance Ministry called it a short “brush-by” meeting.

The FATF works with countries to fight money laundering and terrorist financing.

India wants the FATF to examine allegations involving Pakistan.

Pakistan was removed from the FATF Grey List in October 2022 after carrying out requested reforms.

FATF monitoring can make it harder for countries to access money from global financial institutions.
