Gopalan Group Launches Building Wires Brand in India

Gopalan Metals has started a new brand called Gopalan Wires and Cables.

The brand makes wires used in homes, businesses and factories.

Its first products are two types of PVC house wires.

One type helps resist flames, while the other also produces less smoke and contains no halogens.

The wires are made in Hoskote, Karnataka.

The factory can make about 6,000 kilometers of building wires each month.

The company sells to businesses and people across retail and institutional markets.

It says growing cities, construction and infrastructure projects are increasing demand for electrical products.
