Woman, Son Arrested Over Psychotropic Tablet Supply in Delhi
Police in Delhi arrested a woman and her 19-year-old son.
They are accused of having and supplying special tablets illegally.
Police said they found 90 tablets at the woman’s home.
They also found Rs 90,180 in cash there.
Another 210 tablets were found at the son’s rented home.
The tablets contained buprenorphine and naloxone.
Police said the son had been involved in two earlier cases.
A case was registered under the NDPS Act.
Police arrested 39-year-old Preeti and her 19-year-old son Jatin in Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
Police alleged the pair possessed and supplied psychotropic tablets.
A search of Preeti’s residence recovered 90 Addnok-N tablets and Rs 90,180 in cash.
Another 210 Addnok-N tablets were recovered from Jatin’s rented accommodation.
A case under the NDPS Act was registered; police said Jatin had previously faced two cases.
