Governor Abdul Nazeer Lays Foundation Stone for Temple Development Works
Governor S Abdul Nazeer visited temples in Boppudi village on Thursday.
He started temple construction and development projects costing Rs 10.99 crore.
The projects concern three temples.
They include building a Pushkarini, a Garuda Vahana and a Dhwajasthambam.
Vedic scholars welcomed the Governor when he arrived.
Several judges, ministers, elected representatives and officials also attended.
The Governor unveiled plaques and a pylon related to the projects.
He also planted a tree near the temple steps.
