Telangana Minister Ponguleti Reddy Offers Prayers at Bhadrakali Temple
A minister is an important person who helps run the government.
In the Indian state of Telangana, a minister named Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy visited an old and famous temple.
The temple is called Sri Bhadrakali Temple in the city of Warangal.
He said his prayers and thanked the goddess for helping him, which is called fulfilling a vow.
A priest gave him blessings and some holy items from the temple.
Many other leaders and officials came along with him.
After the temple, the minister went to a garden called Kakatiya Musical Garden.
He officially started work to make the garden better and newer.
The work will cost Rs 6.20 crore, which is a very large amount of money in Indian currency.
When it is finished, the garden will get a fresh new look for everyone to enjoy.
Telangana Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy visited Sri Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal on Monday evening.
He offered special prayers to the presiding deity and fulfilled his vows, receiving blessings, sacred cloth (Sheshavastram), and prasadam.
Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy, MLC Baswaraju Saraiah, and District Collectors Dr Satya Sharada Devi and Chahat Bajpai accompanied the minister.
The minister formally launched redevelopment works at the Kakatiya Musical Garden being undertaken by the Kakatiya Development Authority.
The redevelopment project at the Kakatiya Musical Garden costs Rs 6.20 crore.
