Karnataka Technicians Secure Overseas Jobs Through GTTC–NEPEAN Partnership
Karnataka’s Government Tool Room & Training Centre has partnered with Australia’s NEPEAN Group.
The partnership helps trained technicians find jobs overseas.
Seven technicians were chosen to work for PROK in Ingleburn, Australia.
Each person will earn about ₹56 lakh per year.
They were selected after practical tests and interviews.
Forty-five people took part in the latest selection process.
Six other technicians were selected in April and have already moved to Sydney.
The minister said the programme shows that Karnataka’s technical training meets global needs.
Seven GTTC-trained technicians were selected for jobs at PROK’s production facility in Ingleburn, Australia.
Each recruit will receive an annual salary package of approximately ₹56 lakh.
The selection process included practical tests and interviews held at GTTC from August 31 to September 1, 2026.
A total of 45 candidates participated in the latest hiring process.
The initiative follows an April 2026 selection drive in which six technicians relocated to Sydney.
