WhatsApp Ticket Booking Opens for Karnataka State Bus Services
Karnataka has started a new way to book some state bus tickets using WhatsApp.
Passengers can message a special number to begin booking.
The WhatsApp system guides them through the reservation steps.
It can be used for KSRTC, NWKRTC and KKRTC buses.
People can also cancel tickets through WhatsApp.
They need their PNR number, mobile number and transaction password to cancel.
A separate app called One Karnataka Mobility App brings four state transport services together.
The app will also support complaints, digital bus passes and QR-code checks.
WhatsApp ticket booking is now available for KSRTC, NWKRTC and KKRTC bus services.
Passengers can start booking by messaging +91 6364940880 on WhatsApp.
Tickets booked through WhatsApp can also be cancelled using the same number.
The One Karnataka Mobility App integrates services from four state transport undertakings.
The upgraded KSRTC AWATAR 2.0 and WhatsApp ticketing facility launched on September 10, 2026, in Bengaluru.
