Maruti Suzuki has added automatic gear systems to CNG versions of three cars.

The cars are the Swift, Dzire and Baleno.

CNG is a fuel that can help cars use less fuel money.

The AMT system changes gears automatically, so drivers do not need to press a clutch pedal.

Drivers can also change gears manually when they want to.

The cars use a 1.2-litre engine and a five-speed transmission.

Maruti says one of these cars can travel 36.47 kilometers using one kilogram of CNG.

The reports disagree about whether that mileage figure belongs to the Swift or the Dzire.

Maruti said its CNG sales increased strongly, reaching 83,000 vehicles in July.
