Mumbai Police Book Five in ₹15 Lakh Sextortion of Instagram Influencer
A man in Mumbai who makes videos on Instagram says some people tried to force him to give them a lot of money.
They had a private video of him that was recorded without him knowing.
The woman in the video had known him for about three years.
Later, a group told him they would share the video online unless he paid them ₹15 lakh.
He said no and did not pay the money.
After that, the video appeared on an Instagram page called "exposingtruth60".
His friend told him about it, and his sister also found the video and sent him the link.
The police in Dongri have registered a case against five people.
The police say the woman and her friends planned this together.

The video was later uploaded to an Instagram account named "exposingtruth60", and his friend and sister came across it.
The FIR was registered under the Information Technology Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and investigation is underway.
