Mumbai Grindr Extortion: Govandi Man Held At Knifepoint, 4 Booked

A man in Mumbai used a phone app called Grindr to chat with new people.

Someone on the app asked him to meet in person.

When he went to the meeting place, he was taken inside a nearby house.

Bad people trapped him there and threatened him with a kitchen knife.

They made him take off his clothes and recorded a video of him.

They said they would share the video online unless he paid them 30,000 rupees.

They got his phone passwords and took the money from his bank account.

Three days later, he told the police what happened.

The police are now looking for the four people who did this.
