Jagdambika Pal's Lok Sabha remarks expunged for second time

In India, the Lok Sabha is the part of Parliament where elected leaders discuss new laws.

The Speaker is the leader who keeps order during these meetings.

Sometimes, leaders say things that are not suitable, and the Speaker can remove those words from the official records.

Deleting words this way is called 'expunging.'

Jagdambika Pal is a leader who was in charge of running one of these meetings.

While doing his job, he said something about another leader named Chotelal.

The Speaker, Om Birla, decided to erase Pal's words from the records.

This was the second time it happened during the Monsoon Session.

Earlier, on August 5, his words were also removed because of comments about two other leaders.

Even the person in charge of running the meeting must follow the rules.
