HCLTech, a big technology company, was chosen for this list for the second year in a row.
It is one of the top five companies in its field, and the best-ranked company from India.
TIME worked with a research company called Statista to study more than 5,800 companies.
HCLTech saved lots of water by putting back 51 times more water than it used.
It also makes sure its own buildings send no trash to landfills.
The company reached its goal of cutting harmful emissions four years earlier than planned.
Next, it wants to be completely net-zero by 2040.
HCLTech was named to TIME's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list for the second consecutive year.
The company ranks among the top five global professional services companies and is the highest-ranked India-headquartered company in the category.
The ranking, compiled by TIME with Statista, assessed more than 5,800 global companies across 20-plus sustainability indicators.
In FY26, HCLTech replenished 51 times more water than it consumed and retained zero waste-to-landfill platinum certification at all owned facilities.
HCLTech achieved its 2030 SBTi-validated emissions target four years ahead of schedule, supporting its net-zero ambition for 2040.
