Gadwal SP urges all to protect environment, plant trees
A police chief in a town called Gadwal planted trees with his team.
This was part of a special tree-planting celebration called Vana Mahotsavam.
The police chief, Mr. Srinivasa Rao, said trees are very important for nature.
He said trees are also important for the future of all people.
He said everyone should plant trees and take care of them.
He told his staff to plant trees near police offices and police stations.
He said taking care of trees is a job that never ends.
Many other police officers and workers joined him in planting trees.
It shows that keeping the earth green is everyone's job.
District SP Srinivasa Rao planted trees at the Jogulamba Gadwal District Police Office as part of the Vana Mahotsavam programme on Tuesday.
Rao said it is everyone's social responsibility to increase greenery and protect the environment.
He stated that trees are essential not only for nature but also for the future of the human race.
He urged everyone to plant trees and take care of them responsibly, advising staff to plant trees in available spaces around police offices and police stations.
Additional SP Shankar, Office AO Sai Krishna, AR DSP Narendra Rao, Circle Inspectors, RIs, RSIs, police personnel and office staff participated in planting saplings.
