Delhi Police Probe Abetment Case After IIT Delhi Student Death
A 31-year-old physics student at IIT Delhi died on August 22 after allegedly jumping from a campus building.
Police said he entered the campus in the morning and went to the Lecture Hall Complex.
They said he took a lift to the sixth floor before the incident.
He was taken to the institute hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police have opened a case to investigate whether another person may have contributed to his death.
The case currently names unidentified people, so no specific suspect has been announced.
Investigators found no suicide note at the scene.
They are examining his phone, counselling records and other information from the institute.
