JSW Motors has patented the design of a new electric SUV for India.

The SUV is based on the Chery iCaur V23 sold internationally.

It has a boxy shape that looks somewhat like a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ.

The Indian version may receive different wheels and some small exterior changes.

Patent drawings also suggest it could have a panoramic sunroof.

Inside, it is expected to have five seats and a large 15.4-inch touchscreen.

The international model is available with two battery sizes and rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

JSW Motors appears to want more distinctive electric vehicles in its lineup.
