Minister praises Gaddar legacy as documentary poster released
Gaddar was a famous balladeer who used songs and performances to support people’s movements in Telangana.
Many people saw him as a voice for oppressed and marginalised communities.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy released a poster for a documentary about Gaddar.
The documentary is called “Praja Yuddha Nauka Gaddar.”
It will discuss parts of Gaddar’s life that many people may not know.
It will also show the difficulties and sacrifices he faced.
The Minister said Gaddar’s ideas should be remembered and continued.
He said the government would help with the documentary and a possible future feature film.
The government has also created the Gaddar Cine Awards to honour him.
