Two soldiers injured in landmine blast near LoC in Poonch

Some soldiers in India were patrolling near a special border line called the Line of Control.

They found something very dangerous in the ground: a landmine, which is a kind of bomb buried in the dirt.

Landmines are placed there on purpose to stop bad people from sneaking across the border.

But heavy rains can wash landmines away, so they sometimes end up in unexpected places.

Soldiers who know how to safely remove landmines came to get rid of it.

While they were carefully trying to make the bomb safe, it suddenly exploded.

Two soldiers got hurt in the blast and were quickly taken to an army hospital for treatment.

In another nearby area, workers building a road found an old hand grenade, which army experts safely destroyed too.

The injured soldiers are now being cared for by doctors.
