Live illumination shell found near Jaipur CRPF campus, defused

A woman was walking near a field in Jaipur, India, when she saw something strange lying in some old farm waste.

It looked like a big metal tube.

She told people in the village, and they called the police.

The police came with other safety workers to look at it.

They found out it was an old but still dangerous explosive called an illumination shell.

These shells are used to light up big areas at night.

Because it was dangerous, a special bomb squad was called.

The squad carefully carried it to a hill far away from people and made it safe.

Nobody was hurt.

Now the police are trying to figure out how the shell got into the field and where it came from.
