Later, the motorcycle owner and others allegedly confronted the officers.

The group reportedly threw chilli powder into the officers’ eyes.

They also allegedly used bricks and wooden sticks to attack them.

A third officer who came to help was hurt too.

One 17-year-old has been apprehended, and police are looking for another alleged accused.

The injured officers received medical care and are stable.
