Two Indian airlines are starting new flights from Mumbai to Hanoi in Vietnam.

Akasa Air plans to fly four times each week from September 4.

IndiGo plans to fly every day from October 25.

These flights will make it easier for Indian visitors to reach Hanoi directly.

Vietnam has become popular with Indian tourists because it is affordable and has interesting culture and history.

Hanoi is also near tourist places such as Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh.

VietJet Air and Vietnam Airlines already fly directly between Mumbai and Hanoi.

The airlines hope the growing number of Indian travelers will make these routes successful.
