Indian Army Ice Hockey Team Wins Inaugural Challengers' Cup

Two ice hockey teams played a very important game on ice in a town called Leh, which is in Ladakh, India.

The teams were the Indian Army Ice Hockey Team and the Leh Kings, and this was the final match of the very first Challengers' Cup.

The Leh Kings scored the very first goal, but the Army team fought back and was winning 2-1 after the first part of the game.

The two teams kept tying the score over and over, so everyone watching was very excited.

A Leh Kings player named Stanzin Angchok scored three goals all by himself, something called a hat-trick.

That made the Leh Kings lead 5-4, but then the Army team scored again to tie the game.

With the end of the game very close, an Army player named Padma Namgail scored the final goal.

His teammate Phuntsog Namgail passed him the puck to help him do it.

The Army team won the game 6-5 and became the champions of the very first Challengers' Cup.
