Trent is a big clothing store company in India backed by the Tata Group.

It owns store chains called Westside and Zudio.

The company told everyone how much money it made in the first part of the year.

Profits went up by about 22 percent compared with the same time last year.

The money earned from sales also went up by about 18 percent.

Trent keeps growing by opening new stores, adding one Westside store and 22 Zudio stores during the quarter.

One of those new Zudio stores is in a country called the UAE.

Trent now has more than 1,300 big stores in 330 cities.

Those stores cover more than 18 million square feet of shopping space.

The company's leader, Noel Tata, says there is still lots of room to grow because Trent's brands are still a small part of the whole clothes market.
