Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Enthroned Amid Pune Devotional Fervour
A large Ganesh idol was carried through Pune in a joyful procession.

The idol reached Shri Ganesh Suvarnadham Temple around 12:30 pm.

Thousands of devotees prayed and joined the Aarti.

Padma Vibhushan flautist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia performed the Prana Pratishtha ceremony at about 12:30 pm.
Thousands of devotees joined a procession featuring Dhol-Tasha performances, colourful gulal and devotional chants.
Govindas formed a seven-tier human pyramid at Budhwar Chowk as a tribute to Bappa.
Supriya Sule, Swami Govind Giri Maharaj and other dignitaries later visited the temple to offer prayers.
