Asian Games 2026 Men’s Cricket Schedule Sets Knockout Path
The Asian Games will have a men’s cricket tournament in 2026.
It will be played from September 24 to October 3.
Ten teams will compete for medals.
Six teams will first play in two groups.
The best two teams from each group will move to the quarter-finals.
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will join the tournament at that stage.
India will play on September 28 against the second-best team from Group A. The semi-finals will be held on October 1.
The gold and bronze medals will be decided on October 3.
The men’s cricket tournament will run from September 24 to October 3, 2026, with 10 teams competing.
Afghanistan, Japan and Nepal will play in Group A, while Hong Kong China, Malaysia and Oman are in Group B.
The group-stage teams will play round-robin matches, with the top two from each group reaching the quarter-finals.
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will enter directly at the quarter-final stage.
The semi-finals are scheduled for October 1, followed by the gold- and bronze-medal matches on October 3.
