Patanjali Foods Shares Rally 5% on Legal, Earnings Boost
Patanjali Foods share price rises 5% today. What is driving the rally in the FMCG stock? · livemint.com

Patanjali Foods shares went up sharply during trading on Wednesday.

The price reached ₹360.50, about 5% higher than the previous close.

One reason was a Delhi High Court decision that helped the wider Patanjali group in a tax-related case.

Investors also liked the company’s latest financial results.

Patanjali Foods reported standalone revenue of ₹11,337 crore in the first quarter of FY27.

This was 29% more than in the same period a year earlier.

Its biscuits business and oil palm plantations were highlighted as strong areas.

The broader FMCG sector also rose before the festival shopping season, but Patanjali Foods’ longer-term share performance remains weak.

“Bolstered by rapid e-commerce and quick-commerce growth jumping 25% year-on-year, a clear channel shift toward modern retail, and reaffirmed full-year growth guidance, Patanjali Foods transformed a week of favorable legal outcomes and macro-tailwind momentum into a comprehensive market breakout, capturing strong buying interest across the board.”
