Everest Summiteer to Pace Runners at Delhi Half Marathon
Dr Chinmayee J Thrishulamurthy is a doctor from Bengaluru who has climbed Mount Everest.
She will help runners at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon on October 18.
This will be her first time working as a pacer, and she will guide runners in the 10K race.
Pacers run at a steady speed so a group can aim for a chosen finish time.
The event will have 25 pacers in total.
Eight women will pace the 10K groups, and 17 pacers will guide the half-marathon groups.
Their target times range from 55 to 88 minutes for the 10K and from 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes for the half marathon.
Eleven pacers are coming from outside Delhi NCR.
