Jitendra Singh to launch portal monitoring Special Campaign 6
Dr. Jitendra Singh will launch a website to track a government cleanliness campaign.
The website will show how much progress different government offices are making.
The preparation period will happen from September 16 to 30.
The main campaign will run from October 2 to October 31, 2026.
Offices will clean spaces, organize records and remove unwanted scrap.
They will also work on sorting and properly disposing of electronic waste.
The campaign includes all 84 government ministries and departments and many of their offices.
Earlier campaigns covered millions of sites and removed or closed many files.
The goal is to make government offices cleaner and reduce unfinished work.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh will launch an online portal on September 16 to track Special Campaign 6.
The campaign’s preparatory phase will run from September 16 to 30, followed by the main campaign from October 2 to 31, 2026.
Special Campaign 6 will promote cleanliness, reduce pending work, improve citizen-focused practices and manage e-waste.
All 84 ministries and departments, including their attached, subordinate, autonomous and field offices, will participate.
Previous campaigns covered over 24.20 lakh sites, closed or removed over 180.48 lakh files and generated more than Rs 5,102.91 crore from scrap.
