Balaji College of Pharmacy granted 10-year autonomous status

A college is a place where students go to learn after school.

Balaji College of Pharmacy is a college where students learn how to make and study medicines.

This college just received a special honor called autonomous status.

Autonomous status means the college can make more of its own decisions about teaching and learning.

The honor will last for 10 years.

It starts in the school year 2026–2027.

Before giving the honor, experts carefully checked the college.

They looked at the classrooms, teachers, research work, and science laboratories.

Now the college can update its lessons and improve how it teaches.

The college leader, Dr Kishore Palle, said this is a very important achievement.
