AU to host FDP on Emerging Frontiers in Biotechnology

Andhra University, a big school in Visakhapatnam, India, is planning a special event to help teachers learn about new science.

The event is called a 'faculty development programme,' which is a fancy name for a class where teachers become students again for a few days.

It will happen for five days, from August 24 to 28.

The teachers will learn about biotechnology, which is science that uses living things to make useful products.

They will also learn about clever computer helpers called Artificial Intelligence that scientists use in their work.

Fermentation, the process used to make things like yogurt and bread, is another topic.

The programme is for teachers from universities and colleges, especially those connected to Andhra University.

Experts, researchers, and industry leaders will give talks and lead activities.

The goal is to help teachers teach better and learn about the newest science.

The school's leader, Vice Chancellor GP Raja Sekhar, helped launch the event's poster.
