32-Year-Old Assistant Professor Found Hanging in Rented Indore Apartment
Something very sad happened in the city of Indore.
A 32-year-old college teacher named Divya was found in her rented apartment and had passed away.
She was hanging when she was found, so police believe she took her own life.
Police did not find any note explaining why she did this.
Divya had lived in the apartment with a female friend for about two years.
When her friend came home late in the evening, she noticed the door had not been opened for a long time and called the police.
The police took Divya's body to a hospital for a post-mortem, which is a check doctors do to learn more about how a person died.
Police have informed her family and are still investigating.
On the same day, a 40-year-old bank worker who had been badly hurt in a road accident also died at the hospital.
A 32-year-old assistant professor, Divya, was found hanging at her rented flat in Rupayan Apartments, Tukoganj, Indore, on Tuesday evening.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
Divya, originally from Chhatarpur, taught at Vikrant College and had lived in the apartment with a female roommate for around two years.
Her roommate alerted police after returning late that evening; the body was sent to MY Hospital for post-mortem and her family was informed.
In a separate case, 40-year-old bank employee Gaurav Singh died at MY Hospital from injuries sustained when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle on June 24 in Indore's Khudel area.
