India’s Manufacturing Push Hinges on Quality Testing, Joshi Says
Pralhad Joshi said factories must make safe, high-quality products, not just produce many items.

Joshi spoke at the inauguration of a National Test House facility in Bengaluru and its 115th Foundation Day celebrations.
The National Test House, established in 1912, was reportedly revived after facing a possible closure proposal around 2012.
A new advanced electric-vehicle battery testing centre will assess battery safety and efficiency.
Three facilities were inaugurated: a laboratory, a mobile application and the electric-vehicle battery testing centre.
