Telangana Journalists Union Meets, Pledges Welfare Push

A group of journalists in Telangana got together for a big meeting to talk about how to help each other.

Their leader, Bandaru Yadagiri, said taking care of journalists is their most important job.

They want the government to give journalists places to build homes and special health cards for their families.

Some journalists are also still waiting for their official press cards, so the leaders asked the government to hurry up and give them.

The journalists said that people who work for big papers, small papers, TV stations, and photographers should all be treated fairly.

They believe that when all journalists work together as one team, they can solve their problems.

The leaders promised to take the journalists' concerns directly to the government.

They also want to make their union stronger by getting support in every neighborhood.

Being united, they said, is the best way to protect every journalist's rights.
