Extremely heavy rain is expected in parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Sudurpashchim provinces, with heavy rain possible in Karnali, Gandaki and Lumbini.
The advisory warns of thunderstorms, lightning, strong winds, snowfall at higher elevations and rapidly changing conditions near river basins.
