Apple Launches AirPods 5 With Siri AI, Translation
Apple launched a new version of its wireless earbuds called AirPods 5.
They cost $129, while a version with a Wireless Charging Case costs $149.
The earbuds come in one color: white.
They are designed to provide richer sound and fit more ear shapes.
Their noise cancellation can reduce up to 50 percent more outside noise than the comparable AirPods 4 model.
A special mode can automatically switch between blocking noise and letting outside sounds in.
With a compatible iPhone, users can talk to Siri AI without touching the earbuds.
The earbuds can also help translate conversations in real time using Apple Intelligence.
Pre-orders started September 9, and store sales were set to begin September 18.
