Hyderabad Traffic Police to Close, Relocate U-Turns at Khajaguda, Malkamcheruvu
A police officer in Hyderabad checked two busy roads to make driving safer.
His name is Sunpreet Singh, and he is in charge of traffic in the Cyberabad area.
He visited a place called Khajaguda DPS.
There, drivers were using a U-turn that was causing problems.
He told the police to close that U-turn and make a new one about 70 metres away.
The new U-turn will help stop accidents.
It will also stop drivers from going the wrong way on the road.
Then he went to Malkamcheruvu.
He saw two U-turns very close to each other.
That confused drivers and could cause crashes.
He told police to close both U-turns so traffic can move smoothly and safely.
Cyberabad traffic joint commissioner of police Sunpreet Singh conducted field inspections at Khajaguda DPS and Malkamcheruvu on Monday.
At Khajaguda DPS, he directed officials to permanently close the existing U-turn and establish a new one about 70 metres ahead.
The move aims to prevent accidents and curb motorists from entering the road in the wrong direction.
At Malkamcheruvu, he observed two U-turns located within a short distance causing confusion among motorists and accident risk.
He directed officials to close both closely placed U-turns and take immediate preventive measures to regulate traffic.
