One-Way Traffic Around Hyderabad's KBR Park From August 18
In a big city called Hyderabad, there is a large park called KBR Park.
Workers are building new bridges and tunnels around the park under a project called H-CITI, and the construction is taking away road space, which is making traffic slow and jammed.
To help fix this, police are making a new rule starting August 18: on some roads around the park, vehicles can only drive in one direction.
That means drivers cannot go both ways on those roads anymore.
Motorbike and scooter riders are special because they can choose which direction to go on the two-lane roads.
The police tested the plan twice before to make sure it works well, and they will use drones and cameras to watch the traffic.
Drivers are being told to use other roads, follow the signs, and never park on the roads near the park, while people walking should cross only at safe, marked places.
Ambulances and fire trucks will have a clear lane so they can pass quickly.
The new rule will stay until the bridges and tunnels are finished.

The measure is due to ongoing H-CITI Project construction of seven flyovers and seven underpasses, with around 110 pillars along the corridor.
Two pilot trials on April 5 (about 3 hours) and June 21 (about 6 hours), 2026, guided the final one-way arrangement.
Two-wheeler riders can choose their direction on two-lane roads, while emergency vehicles get unobstructed passage through Lane II.
Police will deploy two drones, CCTV monitoring, and round-the-clock personnel, and have informed Google Maps and MapmyIndia of the diversions.
