Two workers at the Thane collectorate were arrested.

Maharashtra’s Anti-Corruption Bureau carried out the operation.

Officials allege the workers asked for and accepted Rs 50,000.

The money was allegedly connected to changing an address on the Aaple Sarkar government website.

One accused worked as a revenue assistant.

The other was a peon.

They were arrested on Friday evening.

The operation was supervised by Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Jaykar.
