Tamil Nadu: 1,577 Offenders Arrested, 3,288 Warrants Executed

The police in a big state called Tamil Nadu started a special mission to keep people safe.

During this mission, they checked on people who had broken the law before.

These people are called history sheeters and bad characters.

The police checked more than fifty-two thousand people.

Out of those, they arrested about one thousand five hundred people.

The police also captured people who had old court orders against them.

Those are called non-bailable warrants.

This mission lasted from July 29 to August 11.

The police chief, Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, told the police to keep watching these people closely.

The goal of the mission is to stop crime before it happens and keep everyone safe.
