Lokayukta Catches Patwari Aide In ₹7,000 Land-Mutation Bribery Trap

A man in Madhya Pradesh wanted government records for his land to be changed.

He said a Patwari asked him for ₹7,000 to complete that work.

The man did not want to pay the money.

Instead, he complained to the Lokayukta Police on August 13.

The police checked the complaint and planned a trap.

On Thursday, officers went to a private office in Jirapur.

They said the Patwari and an alleged aide were caught while taking the money.

A corruption case has been filed, and further legal action is continuing.
