Four Martyrs' Families Honoured, Receive ₹1 Lakh Assistance in Mumbai

On India's Independence Day, a group called the Uttar Bharatiya Sangh held a special programme in Mumbai.

They wanted to remember soldiers who gave their lives for the country.

They invited the families of four brave soldiers to the event.

Each family received ₹1 lakh of money as a thank-you and a sign of support.

The soldiers died in different places and in different years while serving the nation.

One died in Srinagar in 2004, two died in Jammu and Kashmir in 2001, and one died in Nagaland in 1982.

The leader of the group, Santosh R. N. Singh, said that money can never replace a soldier.

He said people should remember the soldiers' sacrifice and stand with their families.

The families were emotional, and many people in the audience had tears in their eyes.

Everyone clapped and chanted 'Jai Hind' and 'Vande Mataram' to show their love for the country.
