Ravi Kishan's Daughter Swaps Film Career for Armed Forces

Ishita Shukla is the daughter of Ravi Kishan, a well-known actor.

Many people might have expected her to follow a film career.

Instead, she chose to serve her country by joining the armed forces.

She became a cadet in the National Cadet Corps, also known as the NCC.

She was part of the 7 Girls Battalion under the Delhi Directorate of the NCC.

In January 2023, she was selected for the NCC contingent in the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path.

It was a very competitive selection.

Out of 659 female cadets at the camp, only 148 were chosen for the marching contingent.

Her father said she had been working toward serving the country for three years.

That is why Ishita swapped a film career for the armed forces.
