Mumbai’s Ganesh festival will begin on September 14, 2026.

Public festival groups called mandals can use loudspeakers until midnight on four immersion days.

Those days are September 15, 18, 19 and 25.

The permission allows loudspeakers from 6 a.m.

until midnight.

It is meant to support processions where many people gather to say goodbye to the Ganesh idols.

The permission does not automatically apply to every day of the festival.

The groups must still obey noise limits and court orders.

Loudspeakers cannot be used in government-designated peace zones.
