270 Girls Crammed Into Just Three Rooms At Govt Hostel In MP's Khargone As New 500-Bed Facility Awaits Handover · freepressjournal.in

A government school in Selda is currently housing 270 girls in only three small rooms.

The girls are studying in Classes 6 through 11.

The rooms are very crowded, making it hard to sleep, keep belongings and do everyday activities.

The situation also raises concerns about privacy, cleanliness and health.

A larger building has already been built in nearby Saikhedi.

It can house 500 students.

However, the girls have not moved because the building has not been formally handed over or opened.

MLA Jhuma Solanki demanded quick action.

An official said the girls would be moved there soon.
