MP Khandwa Hostel Food Complaint: Inquiry After Caterpillars Found
MP's Khandwa Hostel Food Complaint: Inquiry Ordered After Students Reach Collectorate With Plates · freepressjournal.in

Some schoolboys at a government hostel in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, found caterpillars, which are little insects, in the dal they were given for lunch.

This made them upset because they said it had happened before, three or four times every month.

So the boys walked a very long way to the district office, carrying their plates of food to show everyone.

They told the officials that the rice was not cooked properly and the dal was too watery.

They also said the staff were rude and sometimes came to work after drinking alcohol.

The officials listened and said they would look into what happened right away.

A special team of four people was formed to visit the hostel, talk to the students and check the food.

The team was also asked to look at the hostel arrangements.

After the officials promised to investigate and take action, the boys went back and the protest ended.
