Salad and Go to close all stores after bankruptcy filing

A company called Salad and Go makes healthy salads and food you can get without leaving your car.

The company is closing all of its stores.

It had money problems and went through a special process called bankruptcy.

One reason for the money problems was an outbreak of a tiny germ called cyclospora.

There were 70 Salad and Go stores in two states, Arizona and Nevada.

The last day customers can visit is August 5.

The leader of the company, Mike Tattersfield, said it was a painful day for everyone who worked there.

The people who first started Salad and Go 13 years ago said seeing it close broke their hearts.

They now run a different restaurant called Angie's.

They hope people will keep supporting the idea that good food should cost less, not more.
