Vadodara rape, POCSO escapee recaptured hours after fleeing hospital

A man who was in jail for a very serious crime was taken to a hospital in Vadodara to get medical treatment.

Police officers went with him to keep him safe.

While at the hospital, the man's handcuffs were taken off so the doctor could treat him.

At that moment, he ran away from the police.

Police searched all around the hospital to find him.

They even used a flying camera called a drone to look into an unfinished building nearby.

They also used a loudspeaker to ask him to come out safely.

The police watched camera recordings and used tips from people to track where he went.

Hours later, near a place called the Chhani Canal area, the police found him and caught him again.

He was taken back into police custody.
