Two POCSO Undertrials Escape Srinagar Central Jail, Manhunt Launched
Two men waiting for trial allegedly escaped from a high-security jail in Srinagar.
Their names are Farman Khan and Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar.
Officials said they climbed over the prison’s front-side wall.

Farman Khan and Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar allegedly escaped from Central Jail in Srinagar on Sunday.
Officials said the two undertrials breached security by scaling the prison’s front-side wall.
Khan is from Sadanpora, Rajasthan, while Gujjar is from Sanglan Chittergul in Anantnag.
Both men face charges under Sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Police launched a manhunt, issued lookout notices across Kashmir, and began an inquiry into the security lapse.
