Odisha has reopened its updated Kalinga Studio.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated it in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

The studio has spaces for filming and equipment for recording sound, editing, and other work.

It also has a snow house and a chroma floor.

A new museum and archive will keep old films, posters, photos, and documents safe.

Majhi said the facilities could help Odia filmmakers do more work in their own state.

He encouraged young people to make films based on original stories and Odisha’s culture.

He also launched a new website for the Odisha Film Development Corporation.
