Amazon Refreshes Kindle Lineup With Faster, Thinner Aluminium Models

Amazon is updating its Kindle e-readers before the Kindle’s 20th anniversary in 2027.

The new lineup includes regular, Paperwhite, Colorsoft, Signature Edition, and Kids models.

The basic Kindle turns pages faster and weighs less than before.

Some models now use aluminium instead of plastic.

Paperwhite and Colorsoft models are thinner, lighter, waterproof, and have adjustable warm lights.

Signature Editions can automatically adjust brightness and change to landscape orientation.

Amazon also introduced a Bluetooth page-turn accessory called Kindle Click.

The new models cost between $150 and $320, depending on the version.
