GVMC forum receives 267 grievances, disposes of 83 applications
The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation held a special meeting to help people with delayed town planning applications.
People brought documents and explained their problems to officials.
On the first day, 267 people submitted complaints.
Most of the complaints concerned LRS applications, while others involved APDPMS and TDR issues.
Officials solved or processed 83 applications that day.
More applications will be checked under the required rules.
The meeting also brought officials and Licensed Technical Persons together to speed up the work.
The forum will continue the next day, but it will not handle every kind of town planning problem.

The forum involved 107 officers and staff, 61 Licensed Technical Persons and 83 LRS submissions through LTPs.
The forum will continue on Friday, September 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., focusing only on the three specified categories.
